SIG, or “Self-Energy Conversion Sunglasses” is quite simple. The lenses have dye solar cells, collect energy and make it able to power your small device through the outlet in the back of the frame.
Dye solar cell is described by the designers of SIG as “cheap organic dye [used with] nanotechnology [providing] cheap but high energy efficiency.” Cheap, lightweight, and visible-ray penetrable.
